Samantha Thompson

DIETICIAN

Samantha Thompson is a Registered Dietitian who specializes in gut health; helping people get relief from digestive health conditions such as IBS, IBD and celiac disease. Having struggled with IBS and endometriosis for over a decade, Samantha understands the frustration of debilitating chronic health conditions and being passed from one health professional to another. As such, Samantha believes in taking a root cause approach and avoids band-aid fixes. It is Samantha’s goal to help patients figure out the right dietary and lifestyle changes to become symptom free and enable gut healing.

Courtney Moreira

PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Courtney is a licensed clinical social worker located in Toronto, Ontario and she provides individual virtual therapy to people all across Ontario. Courtney received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University, and her Master of Social Work at University of Windsor. She is licensed through the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and is a standing member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. Through a secure video platform, Courtney provides a safe space where you can explore issues from your past and present, learn to identify unhelpful patterns in your life, and build up your resilience and confidence to make the changes you want to see for yourself.

Dr. Michelle Salga

NATUROPATH

Dr. Michelle Salga, affectionately called “Dr. Mishka ‘’ is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor certified in Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT). She has a special interest in correcting hormone imbalances and works with a team of medical doctors and nurse practitioners to give her patients optimal care. She is also certified in cosmetic rejuvenation acupuncture. She also treats skin issues such as acne, rosacea, eczema and psoriasis. In addition, common concerns such as depression/anxiety, low energy and insomnia are among those conditions treated. Helping her patients achieve their weight loss goals is also a big passion of Dr. Salga’s. Achieving weight loss not only brings confidence to one’s life but is often the root cause of most illnesses and hormonal imbalances. Being a naturopathic doctor, she uses natural treatments such as clinical nutrition, herbs, homeopathy, acupuncture and supplementation to correct the health problem and possible nutritional deficiencies.

PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Samantha is a registered social worker of Ontario, and has experience providing therapy to diverse populations within the community. Culturally responsive, Samantha views therapy as a chance to work collaboratively with individuals towards desired goals, process current and historical situations that have caused distress, and build positive coping skills to reflect a healthy well-being. Through a secure video platform, Samantha provides a safe space for individuals to openly share their thoughts and flourish into the best versions of themselves.

Samantha holds a Bachelor of Applied Science Psychology from Guelph-Humber, a Bachelor of Social Work from York University, a Post Graduate Certificate in Concurrent Disorders from Mohawk College, and a Master of Social Work at Waterloo University. She is licensed through the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and is a standing member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers.
