Dr. Shaireen Kassam


Dr. Shaireen Kassam is a family physician licensed under the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario. She completed her undergraduate degree in Life Sciences at Queen’s University, a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Calgary, and the family medicine residency program at the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Kassam has special interests in preventative medicine, women’s health, and adolescent’s health, and spends a portion of her practice working in sexual and reproductive medicine. She values patient-centred care and informed decision making, and will take the time to ensure patient education and comfort. As a recent graduate, she is up to date on cutting edge medicine and the latest advances of the field. She loves getting to know each patient and hopes to be a continuing advocate for their health.

Dr. Merry Maclellan


Dr. Merry Maclellan completed an undergraduate degree in Biology and Environmental Studies at McGill University and earned her medical degree at Western University. She completed her residency at Women’s College Hospital in Toronto followed by a fellowship in Low Risk Obstetrics at Toronto’s St Joseph’s Health Centre.

Dr. Maclellan enjoys all aspects of family medicine as well as providing obstetrical and postpartum care. She is involved in teaching residents and medical students through University of Toronto and St Joseph’s Health Centre. In her free time she enjoys baking, spending time with friends and skiing.


Dr. Sylvia Lee


Dr. Sylvia Lee will be accepting new patients into her family practice at Citrus Medical as of April 1, 2022. She is thrilled to work alongside the multi-disciplinary team at Citrus Medical! Dr. Lee feels privileged to help enhance the health of her patients and improve their quality of life. 

Dr. Sylvia Lee graduated from her BSc program in Physiology at the University of Toronto in 1999. She received a MSc in the Biology and Control of Disease Vectors from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2001 and a PhD in Molecular Parasitology from the University of Glasgow in 2009. She obtained her MD from Ross University School of Medicine in 2012, and completed her residency in Family Medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center in Syracuse, New York in 2015. She is currently completing a summer-only Master of Public Health program in Clinical Effectiveness at Harvard University. Dr. Lee practiced family medicine in New York State for five years before moving back to Canada in 2020. She had her own family medicine clinic in Guelph before moving back to Toronto in April 2022.

Dr. David Fields


Dr. Field is a family physician graduate who completed his residency in 2021 and undergraduate medical training in 2019 from the University of Toronto. Prior to attending U of T,  Dr. Field earned a diploma of Health and Fitness from Humber College, a Kinesiology degree as well as a Master of Nutrition from Guelph University.  He has a special interest in sports medicine and geriatrics.  In his spare time, Dr. Field is an avid basketball fan and plays recreational volleyball and softball. Dr. Field hopes to bring comprehensive care to all patients at the practice.

Dr. Lauren Briggs


Dr. Lauren Briggs is a family physician licensed under the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario. Dr. Monica Pham


Dr. Pham is a family physician licensed under the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, and certified with the College of Family Physicians of Canada. She grew up in Toronto and finished undergraduate degrees in Human Biology and Nursing from the University of Toronto. She completed her medical degree in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, followed by post-graduate training in Family and Community Medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital and the University of Toronto.

Dr. Pham enjoys all aspects of primary family medicine, including preventative care, mental health, and chronic disease management. She has a special interest in the health of newcomers to the city. In her spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors camping and hiking with her family.


Dr. Bethany So


Dr. So completed medical school and residency training in family medicine at the University of Toronto. She enjoys all aspects of family medicine and is looking forward to working with you and your family. In her spare time you will find her playing her favourite sport, badminton, as well as a variety of other sports.


Dr. Sherry Liu


Dr. Liu received her Medical Degree from McMaster University, and completed her Family Medicine Residency at the University of Toronto. She went into Family Medicine because she loves getting to know each and every one of her patients and building a long-term relationship with them. Dr. Liu sees patients from all age groups. She has a a special interest in minor procedures such as IUD and Nexplanon insertions. Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking and cycling.

Dr. Hinal Sheth

Dr. Sheth earned a Bachelor of Arts & Science from McMaster University and then worked at the Institute of Population Health in Ottawa on research related to preventative health screening for immigrants and refugees. She then returned to McMaster University for medical school and then completed a Family Medicine residency in Toronto at Mount Sinai Hospital.

She has a diverse array of interests within family medicine including women’s health, immigrant/refugee health, and minor office procedures (IUD insertions). Dr. Sheth participated on a medical mission trip in 2013 with the Rotary Club to provide medical care to Haitian refugees living in Dominican Republic. She is involved with teaching medical students at the University of Toronto. She speaks English and Gujarati.



Dr. Ravinder Lall


Dr Lall is originally from Brampton and completed his medical degree in the United Kingdom at the University of Birmingham. He stayed in the United Kingdom for a further 5 years doing his family medicine residency. He is excited to share the knowledge and skills obtained in the UK with the local Etobicoke population.  He is passionate about preventative medicine and practices full scope family medicine including women’s health, children’s health, men’s health,  chronic disease management and mental health. When not in clinic you can find Dr. Lall at a local squash court, gym or on a running trail throughout the city.


Dr. Cameron Caners


Dr. Caners is originally from Winnipeg, and completed his Family Medicine residency here at the University of Toronto. He enjoys all aspects of Family Medicine, and has special interests in preventative care, sexual health, and care of the elderly. Dr. Caners leads an active lifestyle, and enjoys playing hockey and golf, fishing, cooking, and spending time with his family. He welcomes all ages to his practice, and takes pride in helping his patients optimize their physical and mental health goals.


Dr. Emily McDonough


Dr. Emily McDonough grew up in Etobicoke, and is happy that her family practice is in the community. She studied Immunology at McGill University and subsequently earned her medical degree at the University of Toronto. She completed her post-graduate training in Family Medicine at Toronto East General Hospital and a Low Risk Obstetrical Fellowship at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto.

Dr. McDonough is a dedicated and committed family doctor who approaches her practice with care and compassion. In addition to providing primary care at Citrus Medical Centre, Dr. McDonough is pleased to provide maternity/pregnancy care as part of the Family Medicine Obstetrics group at St.Joseph’s Hospital. Prenatal checkups are conducted at Citrus Medical Centre, while labour and delivery take place at St. Joseph’s Health Centre. Besides women’s health, she enjoys practicing the full scope of family medicine including preventative medicine, chronic disease management, and mental health care.

Dr. Alia Gray


Dr. Alia Gray obtained her medical degree from Queen’s University. She subsequently trained in Family Medicine at the University of Toronto at Mount Sinai Hospital. She completed a Masters of Science in Medical Biophysics and a Bachelor of Engineering prior to her study of Medicine.

Dr. Gray enjoys all aspects of family practice but has a special passion for women’s health and pediatrics. In her spare time, Dr. Gray enjoys biking and spending time with family and travelling. She looks forward to meeting and working with you and your family!


Dr. Nafeesa Khan


Dr. Nafeesa Khan graduated from The University of Manchester and completed her family practice training at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London, UK. Dr Khan has a strong focus on preventative medicine and patient-centred care. She has varied interests including Medical Education, Sexual and Women’s Health. She values being able to provide continuity of care for patients as their family doctor and this is what she enjoys most about her role. She is excited to work within a team at Citrus where the culture is supportive and promotes working together to do the best for each patient. In her spare time, she is enjoying getting to know the city, likes to travel and to do hot yoga and zumba!

Dr. Tabitha Tonsaker


Dr. Tonsaker values patient-centred care and informed decision making, and will take the time to ensure patient education and comfort. As a fairly recent graduate, she is up to date on cutting edge medicine and the latest advances of the field. She got her doctorate from the University of British Columbia and has a masters in family medicine from McGill University. She then went on to do her residency at the Women's College Hospital, University of Toronto. Her interests include Preventative Medicine, alongside Hospital and Emergency Medicine in Rural Settings. She loves getting to know each patient and hopes to be a continuing advocate for their health. 

Outside of medicine, Dr. Tonsaker enjoys basketball, baseball, movies, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family!

Dr. Aaren Grigg


Dr. Grigg completed a 3 year Family Medicine Residency in Flint, Michigan. She went on to complete a one year fellowship in a High Risk and Surgical Obstetrics Fellowship in Detroit, Michigan. 


Dr. Nazanin Rajabi


Dr. Nazanin Rajabi completed her family medicine training at the University of Saskatchewan in 2018. She practised in North Battleford and Prince Albert Saskatchewan in a combination of general family medicine, in-patient acute medicine and low-risk obstetrics. Dr. Rajabi’s special interests include pediatric, maternal and sexual health but what she loves most about family medicine is the ability to care for all ages of patients! She is excited to be back home in Toronto, starting alongside the supportive team at Citrus Medical!

Dr. Farahnaz Daya


Dr. Daya brings a unique perspective with experience in multiple healthcare systems around the world. She holds a medical degree from the University of Leicester, UK and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Dalhousie University. She also holds a Master's Degree in Public Health from Harvard University with a focus in Global Health. She has special interests in public health, sexual health and preventative care.

Dr. Irene Fung


Dr. Irene Fung completed both her undergrad and medical degree at the University of Toronto. She then went on to do her residency in Pediatrics at McMaster University and in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of medicine, Dr. Fung enjoys playing tennis, running, gardening and reading


Dr. Hannah Weinstangel


Dr. Hannah Weinstangel completed her medical degree at the University of Ottawa. She studied paediatrics at the University of Alberta and completed her specialization at McMaster University. Her educational background is in psychology, which she studied at McGill University. Her clinical and research interests include general paediatrics with a focus on prevention, chronic complex care, mental health, behaviour, development, and the social determinants of health. She is a practitioner and teacher of mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), and is receiving training at The Centre for Mindfulness Studies. She is passionate about collaborating with patients, families, colleagues, and communities to help others progress from symptom management to wellness, happiness, and fulfillment. She is also a proud mom of a spirited toddler.

Dr. Emily Martin


The goal of Dr. Emily’s naturopathic practice is to offer healthcare in the context of prevention and wellness. Dr. Emily focuses on treating the whole person with safe and effective natural treatments, including diet and lifestyle counselling, as well as herbal and nutritional supplementation.

Her areas of focus include digestive health, mental health (anxiety, depression, fatigue, insomnia), prenatal care, and pediatric health.

Dr. Emily looks forward to sharing her skills, compassionate approach and positive energy to help address your health concerns and support you in establishing your wellness goals so you can live your life fully.

Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation


Samantha Thompson


Samantha Thompson is a Registered Dietitian who specializes in gut health; helping people get relief from digestive health conditions such as IBS, IBD and celiac disease. Having struggled with IBS and endometriosis for over a decade, Samantha understands the frustration of debilitating chronic health conditions and being passed from one health professional to another. As such, Samantha believes in taking a root cause approach and avoids band-aid fixes. It is Samantha’s goal to help patients figure out the right dietary and lifestyle changes to become symptom free and enable gut healing.


Corey Cipolla


Corey’s lifelong interests in health and the human body led him to the University of Western Ontario where he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Medical Science with majors in physiology and medical science. He then developed his manual therapy skills from the completion of the 4-year Doctor of Chiropractic program at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). More recently, he has completed a diploma in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and is a Graston Instrumented Soft Tissue Therapy Provider.


Justin Vanderleest


Justin graduated with distinction from the school of physical therapy at the University of Saskatchewan in 2005. Since then, he has practiced orthopaedic and sports rehabilitation, developing special interests in elite training programs, racquet sports athletes, and injury prevention. Justin completed his Master’s degree in 2012 and is a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapists (FCAMPT).


Barry Nguyen


Barry completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo, where he earned his Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. He went on to complete his Doctor of Chiropractic post-graduate degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) with clinic honours distinction. There, he developed a keen interested in patient-centred care and looking at the patient as a whole rather than solely at the injury. The goals of his treatment plans are to find the source of the pain without chasing it and to deliver a collaborative patient-doctor experience. He concurrently completed his certificate in Medical Acupuncture at CMCC and has continued his post graduate education as a certified Rock Blades soft tissue provider.


Danny Hijazi


Danny has been practicing physiotherapy for over ten years in an orthopaedic clinical setting. He graduated from the University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor Degree in Human Kinetics. Following his undergraduate degree, Danny completed a Masters Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Western Ontario.  Danny is a firm believer in providing patients with advanced manual therapy techniques, education, and exercises in order for them to achieve long term, durable outcomes.


Tesca Andrew-Wasylik


Tesca received her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto. Prior to this she completed an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and Physical Education at Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Science at the University of Winnipeg specializing in Athletic Therapy and Exercise Science. She took to pelvic health early and completed all of her levels while completing her Masters. She found her passion working with the pre/postnatal population as well as active females who experience pelvic pain and/or incontinence.

Kanupriya Garg


Priya is an international graduate in Physiotherapy from India and has been practicing as a Physiotherapist in Canada since 2017. She believes that every patient is unique and makes her patients feel comfortable with her warm personality and friendly approach establishing a meaningful connection with patients. Priya is a passionate and evidence-based Pelvic Physiotherapist. She is proficient in various languages including English, Hindi and Punjabi. She enjoys reading, staying active and listening to music in her spare time.

Gillian Growse


Gillian earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario. She went on to obtain her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto where she graduated with magna cum laude and clinic honours distinctions. During her studies, Dr. Growse pursued additional training in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture through McMaster University. Gillian enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions, including back pain, neck pain, headaches, sprains/strains, rotator cuff injuries, tennis elbow, TMJ (jaw) pain, foot pain and generalized joint pain.

Sabrina Ait-Ouali


Sabrina is a Registered Physiotherapist who completed a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Prior to this, she graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelors of Science in Human Kinetics. She speaks English and French fluently. Sabrina began her career working as an Orthopedic Physiotherapist, developing her expertise in Manual Therapies and Medical Acupuncture. She quickly developed an interest in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, and has found her passion in this field. Sabrina is a Certified Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist, specializing in conditions related to pre and post-partum, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, low back and hip pain, as well as male-specific conditions, including pelvic pain and post-prostatectomy related issues.


Courtney Moreira


Courtney is a licensed clinical social worker located in Toronto, Ontario and she provides individual virtual therapy to people all across Ontario. Courtney received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University, and her Master of Social Work at University of Windsor. She is licensed through the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and is a standing member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. Through a secure video platform, Courtney provides a safe space where you can explore issues from your past and present, learn to identify unhelpful patterns in your life, and build up your resilience and confidence to make the changes you want to see for yourself.
