In the coming weeks, we will be closing our email address (info@citrusmedical.ca) for incoming clinic communication and introducing an electronic contact form via Ocean. This transition aims to provide you with a secure messaging platform and enhance our ability to respond to your inquiries efficiently.

To facilitate a smooth transition, we request that you begin using the electronic contact form for any future communication with our clinic. This will allow us to make any necessary changes & edits before closing our clinic email.

Best Practices

BOOKING APPOINTMENTS

All appointments with family doctors and, Urgent After Hours, must be booked through our online booking portal, Health Myself. Patients who call to book an appointment will be directed to the online booking portal. The schedule on Health Myself is updated in real-time. 

If you are having issues with scheduling an appointment online, you can also email us at info@citrusmedical.ca with your 1) full name 2) reason for appointment 3) screenshot of the error message to help us troubleshoot the issue.   

 

If you need to contact technical support, you can click the “Need Help?” button on the bottom right corner of every screen, or you can send an email to support@healthmyself.ca.

Please provide them with

  • Your name

  • Birthday

  • Citrus Medical’s name 

  • An overview of the issue you are having

EMAILS

We try to respond to all email requests within 2 - 10 business days. Please note, there may be increased delays after long weekends and holidays when the clinic is closed. 

Help us help you! When sending an email, please note the following

  • Include the patient's full name 

  • If requesting an appointment, include the reason + availability of the patient

  • Do not reply to your original email to follow up as this will bump your email further down the line.

If you have urgent email requests, include the word "Urgent" in the subject of your email to bring our attention to it.

PHONE CALLS

Our peak phone times are Weekday mornings and noon. If you are calling during our peak hours, you may experience a higher than normal wait time. We check and respond to our voicemails daily, so you can also leave us a message. Please leave your full name and reason for call when leaving a voicemail. ​​
